  • South Drive-In Theater, Jmoore3204 wrote 17 years ago:
South High Drive In is the last in Columbus, Ohio. We had several others in Columbus up till recently. Most notably the Kingman on North High st and East drive in way out on Main St in Reynoldsburg. We also have a relic still standing the Linden Air drive in up North off westerville rd or Cleveland ave that I added.

Not all sports teams loose, and when they do loose it is because they have a very limited amount of players. The track team is very effected by the small amount of students.

Not so great pizza unless you grew up in Columbus, sort of sweet and greasy.

St. James has a Brats and Crafts Festival every year, on the first weekend of August. Friday evening they have a live polka band and Sunday there's usually a service done in German. It's good stuff, the german potato salad rocks!

The penetentiary actually encompassed an area larger than shown. McPherson Commons is the east boundary, the railroad tracks the north boundary, Neil Ave to the west, and Long/Spring Streets to the south.

  • Big Lots, tdeaton1 (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
Clearly the best grocery store in the osu campus and short north area. The only peculiar thing about the aisles is that they are wide and shelves are spacious. Indeed, I found things a bit different from my "I am used to Kroger" arrangements. Then I figured out if I could read, I could find the right aisle. Yeah, sometimes the newer employees arent' real friendly, but I figure they are learning. And, the fuel perks are amazing!

As of May 26, 2007 Greenbriar also know as "Uzzi Alley" was raised!!! Finally Columbus brought this blighted area to justice! It was an eye sore!
  • Clintonville, none (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
Clintonville is off. Needs to be reset. Currently does not include 43214! "It is commonly understood to include the area north of the Ohio State University campus area (at Glen Echo Ravine) to the village of Riverlea and to the edge of the city of Worthington, extending between the Olentangy River to the west to I-71 on the east. The northern neighborhood of Beechwold is often thought of as part of Clintonville, though as both communities have no official existence, the boundaries are a matter of opinion. The area also contains the former unincorporated community of Evanston, a name that was used by the Big Four Railroad as a station along its line and US Postal service until the 1920s. Clintonville is part of zip codes 43202 and 43214." (wikipedia)
